The Great American Songbook- Hosted by Barbara Kaiser

Barbara Kaiser grew up in Brooklyn and is very proud of her High School, Erasmus Hall, one of the oldest in the country, which was also attended by Barbra Streisand and Neil Diamond. Before moving to Albany, Barbara lived in Greenwich Village. Barbara is a writer and performer. She wrote the one-woman show "Locked in the Ladies' Room" which she performed in Troy and at Cafe LaMama in New York City. Barbara is a fan of the American Songbook and has a wide taste in music that ranges from classical jazz artists like Louis Armstrong and Ella Fitzgerald to newer artists like Tierney Sutton and Stacey Kent. She also loves the music of Billy Joel, Elton John, Tom Waits, the Beach Boys and a diversity of hip artists you are likely to hear on The Saint.
