Into The Woods w/ Joe Ctaig

Should you be wondering why the show is called In the Woods with Joe, it’s because I’m a retired Park Ranger. Most folks think that park rangers are ipso facto naturalists, but my background is in history. So don’t be surprised if you might hear a few pieces of music that have long pedigrees.
Now the reason I even wound up being a host was that Siena College and WVCR helped us at Saratoga Battlefield with several projects. Just before I retired I contacted Darrin Scott himself to see if I might be able to help doing public service announcements or something similar. I was cordially invited to come on down, and the next thing I knew, I was being shown the Arts and Mysteries of radio and given my own show. My head, as they say, is still spinning, but I enjoy the notion that I can add “radio host” to my list of varied stuff I’ve done.
Be sure to tune in to In the Woods with Joe for folk, blues, blue grass and some country as well.
